ChaloMate is a UK commute cost-sharing marketplace, not a taxi or private-hire service. Drivers may only ask for a fair travel cost contribution towards fuel and running costs — contributions must never exceed the actual cost of a journey.

Drivers are responsible for holding a valid UK licence, MOT, tax and insurance that permits cost-shared car sharing.

Passengers agree to be at the meeting point on time and to pay the agreed cost contribution directly to the driver.

Abusive behaviour, no-shows and misleading listings may result in removal from the marketplace.
